A New Cadence
Today I sat in silence for the most part. It’s important to sit down sometimes when it becomes overwhelming and over stimulating talking to a lot of people. There was so much movement the last few days that I knew I had to rest my mind. When life gets heavy, it’s okay to ask questions and seek another way. One of the things I did was deactivate my social media outside of two platforms that are more focused on business vs brain numbing content. It felt like a great decision and has allowed me to step away and know the exact people I need to keep up and touch basis with. After a while it’s too much going on online. You’ll begin to wonder when does it all stop.
It was easy to begin this new cadence. Live more in the real world away from validations and distractions. Having more real conversations and focus on my own priorities. It’s been liberating and inspiring to build on new ideas from the ground up and be creative to test what’s possible. Through it all I’ve sat back and realized how much I’ve gone through and it was time to step back to move forward. It’s ok to pray for people from a distance and set boundaries. When you get older it’s really nothing to explain when making choices for your own sanity and safety. They say “if you’re not in my contacts, I’ll catch ya when I catch ya”…until then I wish the best for you.
So here’s to a new feeling, a new cadence, a new pivot….Happy New Year and I hope 2026 goes amazing for you and your families. Time to unplug…literally.
Until next time…
