Next Stop...Next Steps...
Traveling yet again, and I don’t know what time it is. The jetlag is very real, but I’m overall enjoying myself as we have made it to the 2nd out of 5 stops. Traveling gives you time to sit back, relax, and reset when things have been moving at such a fast pace. One of the stops we encountered again was Abu Dhabi. One of my best friends lives out there, so it was good to reconnect with them, fellowship, and have a good time in the 100 degree weather at midnight out there. Once again, the one thing I like about Abu Dhabi is the architecture and cleanliness. Everything about it is clean, the people have good energy, and it is very diverse. We ended up landing at this nice lounge where the DJ was playing great Amapiano and Afrobeats house music. Outside there was a marina and far-off buildings that looked amazing. I can see why many people are starting to move out to places like Abu Dhabi and Dubai. There is an adjustment to 100 degree weather where you can cook eggs on the concrete outside. It’s so hot, but being present in the moment, you begin not even thinking about it and get used to it.
The Maldives remind me of Santorini, Greece, with green/blue waters and a lot of open space in between the islands. They have these giant flying bats that I immediately googled because I don’t play about nature at all. These bats are as big as human babies, swooping past your head and flying low only to land and hang upside down, looking at you while enjoying fresh fruit, chewing slowly. It seems as if nature has caught my attention more than the other surroundings. The birds look like dinosaurs. They have no wings, and they stop to look at you. I watched other tourists walk close to these birds and said to myself Good luck if that bird doesn’t want to be bothered. I googled those too. Turns out they are afraid of humans, but they didn’t seem to move much as the human walked towards them. It feels like the National Geographic Channel because they have the Finding Nemo fish, sea turtles, and Costco sized bugs walking around hanging on the trees. It’s been a good experience with the food. The flavors and diverse selections make it enjoyable. Again, I would recommend people to visit the Maldives and see all the new perspectives.
I didn’t want to keep you all long. I’m about to get back to relaxing and minding my business. On to the next stops as there’s more to see and be present in every moment. I’m glad I’ve hired my teams in my business to hold it down so I can really chill. When you create good systems, it opens up so many opportunities and gives you way more time. Always grateful to all my readers. Life has been blessed. Keep going, keep trying, keep excelling. The faster you understand how to remove yourself from distractions, the more success you will always have. Until next time.
